Our Difference

How was your last trip to your doctor?  Were you seen within 5 – 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment time?  Did you feel that your practitioner was unrushed and that you were fully heard?  Were all of the possible treatment options discussed?  Did you receive nutritional counseling, lifestyle counseling and were there rehabilatory exercises prescribed?  Was your doctor an athlete who would be familiar with your sport?  Was every possible step explored in order to keep you away from highly addictive and possibly deadly pharmaceuticals or expensive and life altering surgery?

Or did you feel that you were made to wait long after your appointment time, herded into a treatment room, given a quick once-over and then walked out with a prescription that most likely will not address the underlying problem causing your symptoms?  Did that prescription come with side effects and will those side effects necessitate future pharmaceuticals?

Most of us unfortunately, myself included, do not feel adequately ”cared for” by those in the highest positions of influence with regards to our health.  Even if the particular practitioner wants nothing more than to spend as much time and energy as is necessary with you, they are burdened by a system that will not allow for this.

As a former professional MMA fighter, an avid surfer, snowboarder, jujitsu and muay thai enthusiast, a CrossFitter and CrossFit coach, I have sustained injury after injury and fortunately now, I know how to heal them.

It is my great pleasure to use over 4,000 hours of medical study and clinical practice, an externship in the Venice Pain Clinic, a lifetime of knowledge and understanding of the human body, kinesiology, and high-level athletics to provide my patients with empathy, preventative exercises, world-class pain management and injury rehabilitation. If you are injured, you will never hear, “You have to quit your sport” from my office. Ever.

My goal is simple – to provide you with an empathetic, fully supportive healing experience in order to get you back out into the world doing what you love to do in the shortest time possible.
